Fresh Honey & Chia Almond Butter
2 cups of raw almonds
3 tbsp of Batistini Farms Classic Olive Oil
OPT: 1/2 cup of honey or maple syrup
OPT: 1/4 cup of chia seeds
Preheat oven to 350 F.
In a baking pan, rub 2 tbsp of Batistini Farms Classic Olive Oil into the raw almonds. Toast for 10-15 minutes. Allow to cool for 5-7 minutes, or until just warm.
In a food processor, blend your toasted almonds for 5-8 minutes, add in remaining 1 tbsp of Batistini Farms Classic Olive Oil for a creamier texture. Add in honey and chia seeds, and blend for 1-2 minutes.
