1/4 cup Batistini Farms Olive Oil (preferably Classic, but spice it up with one of our flavors, such as Batistini Farms Truffle Olive Oil)
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup greek yogurt (or vanilla yogurt, for sweetness)
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
4 teaspoons baking powder
pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 450 F.
Mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Add your choice Batistini Farms Olive Oil, and mix together with your fingers. It should look almost like crumbs.
In a smaller bowl, mix together milk and yogurt. Add the milk mixture to the flour mixture, until it forms a sticky dough.
Form the dough into a ball, on a floured surface, and knead a few times. Roll out the dough to 1" thickness, and cut circles around 2.5" (You can even just use a smaller cup, to cut the circles.)
Line the baking tray with parchment paper, and place the biscuits so they a lightly touching together. This will help them to rise together. Pour a small line of the same Batistini Farms Olive Oil you used down the circle of each biscuit, so it won't be too dry.
Bake 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown. Top with a drizzle of Batistini Farms Olive Oil, your choice.
You can cut the middle of the biscuit, creating two halves and serve with jam, bacon, eggs, & more!
